Entstanden sind viele der Songs auf ausgiebigen Tourneen, schließlich war Simon Hudson in den Jahren zuvor nicht nur in Australien, sondern in den USA und in Europa unterwegs, um diverse Konzerte zu geben.

Finanziert wurde das Album über die Crowdfunding-Website Pozible. Fans investierten mehr als 10.000 Dollar in den Erfolg der Musik der Simon Hudson Band.
