SUMMARY:Album launch show!
DESCRIPTION:I’m so very excited to be launching my new album at the Retreat band room. This album had its roots in the depths of the pandemic\, when I got up every day at 5am to write. After a year of crafting\, trimming and pruning\, I had my songs. Coming out of the lockdowns\, I gigged them\, then got together my favourite people to record them at the Aviary Studios in Abbottsford. Following overdubs and mixing\, I then asked my wife Jimena to help me make a video clip. My label in Germany needed everything on a tight deadline so we were pushing it. Of course she agreed because she’s awesome\, so we both scouted for locations then on a couple of days in April shot the whole thing on our iPhones. Another busy couple of weeks editing the footage around a full-time job and looking after our toddler\, then all was set. We’re all off to tour the album in Austria and Germany in July\, but ahead of that I’d like to invite you to our launch celebration here in our hometown. Come down to give us a sendoff\, we’ll be showing the video\, we’ll have special guests and the whole arvo will be super fun. Tickets available now.
