Hey funky patrons!
Just a quick note to let you know I’ll be doing an online streaming song competition this week! It’s called Musoc Song Slam, from Munich, Germany. Acts from across Europe meet to compete for big prizes.
The idea is each artist is interviewed then has a video of theirs played. The audience can watch for free, but by signing up for a small fee they can vote for which they think is best. The fee goes to help support the platform that has been hard hit by Covid and has had to cancel the last two Song Slams. So it is now adapting to trying new ways of putting on the comp.
So if you wanted to sign up to vote for me, that would be amazing! The top two go through to the grand final in Germany in December (Covid permitting) for amazing prizes, including the chance to record in a studio built inside a church in Woodstock.
The competition takes place 8pm this Thursday 4th February CET (Munich, Germany time), which is 6am this Friday 5th Feb AEDT (Melbourne, Australia time).
